About Me

Hi, I’m Astrid—a psychotherapist, coach, and single mom who knows firsthand how overwhelming mom guilt can feel.When Covid hit, my entire support system disappeared—no daycare, no family nearby, no breaks. I was completely on my own with my son, juggling everything and feeling like I was never doing enough. Instead of letting guilt and exhaustion define me, I made a bold decision: In 2021, I started my degree in Psychotherapy and Spiritual Care—as a single mom, in a foreign country, during a pandemic.It wasn’t easy. There were late nights studying with my son asleep beside me, overwhelming moments of self-doubt, and countless times I questioned if I was doing the right thing. But I didn’t just survive—I learned how to release guilt, trust myself, and build a fulfilling life.Now, as a registered psychotherapist in Germany and Canada, I specialize in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), CBT, mindfulness, and self-compassion techniques—all tools that have transformed my own life and those of the moms I work with.💛 If you feel stuck in guilt, exhaustion, or never feeling "good enough," you’re not alone.
